Opposition Democratic Party President Harry Kalaba has questioned the 12 points entry requirement for one to join the Defence Forces in Zambia as advertised in the media.
Mr Kalaba has described the requirement as prohibitive and unrealistic and has challenged the Service Chiefs and the Defence Minister to show Zambians how many points they got.
Featuring on Kwithu FM’s Nkani Yathu Program, Mr Kalaba has accused the government of politicising the exercise – further alleging that many people that will be recruited will be PF cadres.
He has demanded that the 12 points requirement should be removed to give an opportunity to many youths to access employment opportunities in ZAF, Zambia Army and Zambia National Service.
And Mr Kalaba says inmates in Correctional facilities will shock the PF in 2021 general elections by voting for the opposition because they are suffering.
