A critical shortage of fuel has hit Mazabuka district as only one fuel service station has the commodity.
Journalists that went through all the five service stations in mazabuka found that only one filling station Engene had petrol forcing motorists to queue for the commodity.
Kobil filling station has had no gasoline for close to one week, Oryx filling station only have diseal.
A check by journalists Monday night and Tuesday morning further revealed that Total and Yellow filling stations also had no fuel forcing motorists to form long queues at Engene services station.
And motorists talked too who complained against Government, says authorities must do something to avert the fuel crisis, says a commodity such as fuel must be readily available as it drives the economy.
Meanwhile an impeccable source has told journalists that the shortage of fuel is as a result of truck drivers who have downed tools demanding for improved salaries and conditions of services as they are harasing other fuel tanker drivers who are spotted operating thereby causing fear of being killed by fellow drivers if seen working hence the shortage of supply since transporters can not move the commodity.
